Terms of service

These terms apply when you use kbop.ca or order from KBOP (“KBOP”, “we”, “us”). By placing an order or starting a subscription you agree to these terms, our Refund Policy and our Delivery Policy. Questions: hello@kbop.ca.

Our service

  • KBOP is a weekly Korean meal-kit subscription. Subscriptions are charged every Tuesday around 4pm for delivery the following Monday.
  • You can skip, pause or cancel from your account. Changes are accepted until the end of Saturday; once the new weekly menu is posted on Sunday morning, that week’s order is final.
  • We deliver on Mondays with our own KBOP couriers. Pickup is available on Sundays 3–6pm and Mondays 10am–4pm at #33-145 Schoolhouse Street, Coquitlam, BC.
  • Menus, prices and availability can change, and items may sell out.

Refunds and delivery

Refunds and deliveries are covered by our Refund Policy and Delivery Policy, which form part of these terms.

Your details

Please keep your contact and delivery details (including buzzer or entry instructions) up to date so we can deliver your order. We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Delivery text messages (SMS terms)

Program: KBOP Delivery Texts. If you check “Text me KBOP delivery updates” in your cart, we use your mobile number to send you delivery texts on delivery day: when your courier heads out, when they are 3 stops away, and when your order has been delivered (with a link to the delivery photo). Up to 3 texts per delivery day; message frequency varies with your deliveries. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. You can also email hello@kbop.ca. When you reply STOP, you will receive one confirmation text and no further delivery texts. Opting in is not required to order. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not share or sell your mobile number or your text messaging opt-in and consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, KBOP is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
